My reversible vintage throws are made from recycled cotton saris. A Krishna devotee from Bengal collects them for me all year round. There are five saris in each throw. After meticulously sorting through piles and piles of saris, I select the designs for the front and reverse. The five layers are hand-stitched together by local village women to create a deliciously soft throw. Each one is unique. Some may have small imperfections and /or patches. This only adds to their charm. Approx 220 x 150cm.
Soft pink on one side with grey-blue border ( photos 1 - 3 ). Reverse is a striking purple pink with border of yellow grey stripes and dots ( photos 4 - 6 ). Machine washable.
