Pampas Throw

My reversible vintage throws are made from recycled cotton saris. A Krishna devotee from Bengal collects them for me all year round. There are five saris in each throw. After meticulously sorting through piles and piles of saris, I select the designs for the front and reverse. The five layers are hand-stitched together by local village women to create a deliciously soft throw. Each one is unique. Some may have small imperfections and /or patches. This only adds to their charm. Approx 220 x 150cm.

Naturals in parchment, palest wheat and grey paisley leaves with block print featured border ( photos 1 -3 ). On reverse side mossy green florals with border of matching paisleys (photos 4 - 6).  Machine washable.
