Daffodil throw

My reversible vintage throws are made from recycled cotton saris. A Krishna devotee from Bengal collects them for me all year round. There are five saris in each throw. After meticulously sorting through piles and piles of saris, I select the designs for the front and reverse. The five layers are hand-stitched together by local village women to create a deliciously soft throw. Each one is unique. Some may have small imperfections and /or patches. This only adds to their charm. Approx 220 x 150cm.

Yellows and orange flowers nestled amongst pale  grey leaves on one side ( photos 1 -2 ). With very pale reverse side - abstract green and white with hints of orange ( photos 3 - 4). and a darker mango/orange border ( photo 5). Machine washable.
