SPECTACULAR SALE - AFRICAN INDIAN PATCHWORKS - 50% OFF

by Sally Campbell

Earlier this year I travelled to Karnataka in search of the mysterious Kawandi quilts which I had seen exhibited in a New York art gallery. They are made by the Siddi women who are descendants of African slaves bought to Goa in the 17th century. Handmade from recycled fabrics, each quilt is wildly colourful and covered in the tiniest patches.  All unique with hints of humour. To purchase see the SALE column on my website.
