Excitement is looming and anxiety is peaking as another textile extravaganza is about to launch at the Barometer Gallery. My devotion to checks and stripes never wanes. Influenced by the humble lunghi in Kolkata and Madras checks and stripes, I have woven and stitched my way into an exciting range of quilts, throws, cushions, towels. Also a mini clothing range of scarves, dresses and trousers in hand spun, hand woven Khadi cotton. Come, celebrate and have drinks with us on Wednesday December 4, 5-8pm. The Xmas exhibition runs every day until December 16 at 13 Gurner Street Paddington in Sydney.
